Black & Gold Gala
Sophistication, glitter, a champagne toast. Welcome to the Black & Gold Gala, Trillium Family Services' major annual fundraising event. An evening of dining, dancing, networking, and raising money for a good cause.
When designing for this event, the goal was to look elegant but not expensive. As a nonprofit, most of Trillium's materials are printed in-house or at low cost. Being the largest fundraiser of the year, the budget for Black & Gold was more flexible but still small and the finished products had to satisfy Marketing, Development, and Finance as well. To achieve this, I designed the sponsor packets to be printed and assembled in-house and created a postcard Save the Date. This freed up the budget just enough for us to have a custom foil die developed that could be used for the invitations year after year.
