About.
I’m a graphic designer living in Portland, Oregon. I'm passionate about design and its ability to communicate complex messages and concepts to a large and diverse audience.
I love many aspects of this work and have been fortunate enough to collaborate on a wide variety of projects. If forced to choose, I’d say I most often find myself drawn to layout design because it feels like creative Tetris. I am obsessively detail-oriented and committed to providing excellent customer service.
My road to graphic design was a winding one. After earning a BA in Theater Arts with an emphasis on lighting and scenic painting, I spent years working in direct care with adults with developmental disabilities before deciding to pursue nursing. Less than a year into the prerequisite classes I realized that I was longing to be back in a creative field. Soon after I switched my course of study to graphic design. Since then I’ve worked as an in-house and freelance designer for non-profits, government, and commercial enterprises.
